From the owners of the award winning restaurant The Clove Club, Luca offers traditional Italian dishes with the focus on British seasonal ingredients.

Established in 2016 by chef-owner Isaac McHale, Luca can be found in its green tile glory on St John Street in the heart of Clerkenwell. The restaurant is split into three separate areas – the main restaurant, a casual bar area perfect for small plates and cocktails and two private dining rooms each with their own theme.

Loved by many, Luca serves high quality ‘Britalian’ hybrid lunch and dinner dishes which change seasonally. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday and the menu can be viewed here.

The Coach – Clerkenwell

The Coach is an award winning, critically acclaimed independent pub with chef-restauranteur Henry Harris overseeing the food and menu.

The pub has been a part of Clerkenwell since 1790 but was restored and reopened in 2018 with the addition of a floor to ceiling glass extension for the restaurant as well as a garden to the rear.

Henry Harris’ passion for French cuisine is shown within the menu which beautifully blends food from his family’s heritage with British bistro and restaurant classics.

Coal Drops Yard – Stable Street, Kings Cross N1C 4DQ

Coal Drops Yard – Kings Cross

Built on the grounds of two former coal sheds, Coal Drops Yard is a 100,000 sq. ft. shopping district in Kings Cross incorporating restaurants, bars, independent shops and established brands.

Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the project cost £100 million and was opened in November 2018, providing 50 carefully selected brands including Cos, Paul Smith, Aesop and Barrafina, a Michelin star tapas bar to an estimated 20 million visitors each year.

Ideally located a few minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras rail and tube stations, the new shopping destination is part of the £3m redevelopment of Kings Cross over the past 18 years, with Kings Cross now being regarded as London’s tech hub.

Stem + Glory - 60 Bartholomew Close, (Barts Square), EC1A 7BF

Stem + Glory – Barts Square

Stem + Glory is an award winning vegan restaurant which crowd funded £600,000 to open its doors at their flagship London location in January 2019.

Having been a part of the plant based movement for more than 35 years, founder Louise Palmer-Marston opened the first restaurant in Cambridge in 2016. Stem + Glory have since expanded into London, offering vegan breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drink options. The dishes are made fresh on the premises with the option to eat in or takeaway.

Opened in April 2019 by the people behind Canova Hall and Martello Hall, Serata Hall is a one stop shop offering a plethora of meals throughout the day, bottomless brunch and gin masterclasses.

The mixed bar/dining on the ground floor is open 7 days a week from dusk until dawn. Serata Hall incorporates an on-site bakery which produces pizza bases, bread and pasta for the restaurant as well as their gin, sherbets, bitters and cordials all being made in-house making it the perfect place to grab drinks after work.

The Curtain is a 5* hotel, restaurant, live music venue and members club on Curtain Road in the heart of Shoreditch.

With 120 rooms and suites, the hotel has been decked out with custom artwork by Mick Rock, and its amenities include a rooftop pool, gym, treatment rooms, a ballroom, screening room and taco and tequila bar.

In the basement you can find Red Rooster, a restaurant offering soul food from legendary New York chef Marcus Samuelsson.  Live music can be heard in the restaurant five nights a week along with a Gospel choir during Sunday brunch.

Gloria – Shoreditch

From the Big Mamma Group, Gloria is the Parisian restaurant company’s first venture of France offering Italian goodness in Shoreditch.

The interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of 1950’s Capri and can seat 160 people, with diners queuing out the door, desperate to get a taste of the outstanding Italian dishes.

Gloria has already become well renowned for its Cacio e Pepe, served in a Pecorino cheese wheel, as well as its 10-layer lasagne. To perfectly accompany any of their dishes, the private wine room is fully stocked with over 3,000 bottles of Italian wine.

Mare Street Market - 117 Mare St, Hackney, E8 4RU

Mare Street Market is an all-day food, drink, music and design space spread over 10,000 sq. ft. in Hackney.

Moments from London Fields, Netil Market and Broadway Market, the former council office block now houses an array of eateries, along with local businesses including a florist, record shop, podcast studio, bakery, deli and cocktail bar which is open until late.

Lino – 90 Bartholomew Close

Lino is an all-day British restaurant in a former linoleum and carpet warehouse to the south of London’s Smithfield market.

Overseeing the kitchen is Richard Falk, the former head chef at The Dairy, whose focus is to produce low waste dishes. An example of this are the desserts which are made from left over pastries from breakfast. Lino’s menu can be seen here.
