Built on the grounds of two former coal sheds, Coal Drops Yard is a 100,000 sq. ft. shopping district in Kings Cross incorporating restaurants, bars, independent shops and established brands.

Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the project cost £100 million and was opened in November 2018, providing 50 carefully selected brands including Cos, Paul Smith, Aesop and Barrafina, a Michelin star tapas bar to an estimated 20 million visitors each year.

Ideally located a few minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras rail and tube stations, the new shopping destination is part of the £3m redevelopment of Kings Cross over the past 18 years, with Kings Cross now being regarded as London’s tech hub.
